About Gold Ticker Live

Gold Ticker Live is a gold market digest. Twice a day — once in the morning and once in the evening, both UTC — we collect what the financial press is reporting about gold, pair it with the live spot price, and publish a short edited read of the session.

What it is for

A live price tells you what gold is doing. It does not tell you what is being said about why. This site exists to fill that second gap for people who already watch the price: a compact, twice-daily read of the reporting around it, with every claim linked back to the publisher that made it.

Who publishes it

Gold Ticker Live is published by the same independent operator as XAUTicker, the live price board this site draws every figure from. It carries no advertising, sells nothing, and takes no payment from anyone it links to.

Its relationship to XAUTicker

Every price on this site is read live from XAUTicker, which is where the actual price work happens: real-time gold and silver rates, charts, alerts, and a pricing methodology published in full. Gold Ticker Live is the editorial companion to that feed — we do not calculate prices, and where the two ever disagree, the ticker is the authority.

What it is not

It is not investment advice, and it never will be. We do not publish price targets, we do not tell readers to buy or sell, and we do not forecast. Where a section describes an expectation, that expectation belongs to the publication we are citing, and it is named.

Corrections

Editions are permanent once published — the archive is not quietly edited. If something is wrong, the correction goes in the next edition rather than being back-dated into an old one.

One narrow exception: an edition published during a writer outage carries no write-up at all, only its collected headlines. Such an edition may later be given the write-up it should have had, generated from the same frozen price and the same headlines, and is stamped with the date that happened. The record of the day — its price and its sources — never changes.
